Who is collecting this. Run to the Monster (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2023/000452/07), 11 Princess Place, Parktown, Johannesburg, South Africa, 2001, is responsible for the information you give us here.
What we collect. Your first name and surname, and your email address — the ones you typed in above. The language you choose. A written transcript of what you say during the interview. Basic technical information needed to run the call, such as whether your microphone and speakers are working.
What happens to your voice? We do not keep a recording of your voice. While you speak, your audio is sent live to a speech-recognition service that converts it to text. We keep the text. The audio is not saved by us, and no recording of the call is made.
Why? To show you how our Exit Interview product works, and to produce a report of your interview and email it to you.
Who else receives the report? The report is emailed to the address you gave us above, and a copy always goes to david@runtothemonster.com, who is the product owner.
Is this voluntary? Entirely. You do not have to do this. If you would rather not give us your name or email address, we cannot run the demonstration or send you the report — that is the only consequence.
What we keep. We keep a written transcript of the whole interview, and the report produced from it. The transcript is stored as a record and is not emailed to anyone. Only the report is sent to the recipients named above.
If you say something that concerns us. Zed is not a counsellor. If you say something suggesting you have been harmed or may be at risk of harm, Zed will show you crisis support contact details and give you the option of bringing the interview to a close. In this demonstration, that fact — and what you said — is included in the report sent to the address you gave us.
Your rights. You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to our using it. Email accounts@runtothemonster.com. You can also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa at POPIAComplaints@inforegulator.org.za.
